Campfire tams
These Tams are knit from various yarns in a larger gauge than my Trout Tams

The Redwood Floor
This is knit with three stands of Shetland and was inspired by walking along Paper Mill Creek. The redwood grove floor was damp. The band is two cashmeres and the button top is from Osaka, Japan. $75.00

Mixed Alpacas
I find alpaca the next softest wool to cashmere and a joy to knit. This tam has a cashmere and merino band, and a button top from Osaka, Japan. Very soft and warm. $45.00

Red Hot Chili Peppers
This mixture of Alpacas is not only warm to wear, but warm to look at. The band is made from the softest cashmere I have ever knit and a cashmere/ merino blend. Funny little handmade button completes the look.. You won't want to take it off. Sold

Variegated Garter
From the stash, including the wooden button. Again the band is two cashmeres. $40.00

Pure Fun
The band is knit of solid cashmere and variegated cashmere/merino blend. This soft, playful combo reappears in the top of the tam. The button top is from Osaka, Japan. Sold

Pure Stash
There are past sweaters in this one. And the button top was collected long ago. Double cashmere band makes for soft wearing. $40.00

Mostly Yak
My dear friend Liza sent me Yak yarn from her travels Thundercloud Studio . I've saved the packaging. Again a double cashmere band, and a Japanese button. Truly an international collection. Sold

Yak II
The owner of the above tam liked it so much I thought I should try another. This one is sporting one of latest buttons from my Osaka connection. And the off white cone top is yarn from the Falklands. $45.00

Falklands
My sister brought me the lighter colored yarn in this one from the Falklands. Abalone Moon button and double cashmere band and you can be off on your travels. $45.00

Plums Anyone?
Many past projects included in this collection, including the button. Double cashmere band, of course. $40.00

Mixed Stitch Greens
A mix of patterns, stitches and yarns, this was a fun knit. Double cashmere band and button from my stash. Enjoy. $40.00

Merino Ribbon
Sometimes you buy a skein of yarn because you are drawn to the colors, and then you wonder, well what now? From the stash, the merino ribbon was combined with various solid colors. Old leather button and double cashmere band. $45.00

Argentine Yak
A combination of wool from Argentina and some Yak from Tibet. Throw in some blue from the stash, and Celtic knot button, a double cashmere band, and this Tam has been around the world. $40.00

Merlot
Or that's what I tried to stain the button with. Compliments of my friend Mark Bulwinkle bulwinkleland , these buttons will be appearing often. (Mark never just makes one of anything.) This tam was knit entirely on the upper Owens, while the fisherman fished. Cashmere and merino band. $45.00
